The Alliance describes itself as a democratic socialist party and is contesting the 2026 election after more than two decades outside Parliament. It campaigns on public ownership, free healthcare and education, secure housing and full employment, and says it accepts no corporate donations. It holds no seats in the current Parliament.
Seat counts are the 2023 general election result (Electoral Commission). Party background and leadership from the party’s own site and the Electoral Commission’s register of political parties. Alliance holds no seats, so there is no parliament.nz page or member roster to check against.
