New Zealand Loyal contested the 2023 election under founder Liz Gunn, won no seats, and was deregistered in 2024. It was re-registered in August 2026 under leader Kelvyn Alp, with John Alcock as deputy, and has been allocated public broadcasting funding for the campaign. Its founding and current leadership groups give different accounts of how the deregistration happened; this page records that the dispute exists rather than settling it. It holds no seats in the current Parliament.
Seat counts are the 2023 general election result (Electoral Commission). Party background and leadership from the party’s own site and the Electoral Commission’s register of political parties. NZ Loyal holds no seats, so there is no parliament.nz page or member roster to check against.
